Emergency Roof Repairs in the West Midlands
Leaks, storm damage and dangerous tiles made safe fast, often same day, then repaired properly once the roof is dry.
Emergency Roof Repairs
Roof emergencies do not wait for a convenient time. A ridge tile comes down in a gale, a leak that was a drip becomes a stream, felt tears and suddenly there is water in the bedroom. The first job is always the same: stop the water and make the roof safe. Ring us, describe what is happening, and we will be straight with you about how fast we can get there, which is often the same day.
First visit is about control: torn areas sheeted over, loose tiles and slates taken down or refixed before they fall, slipped flashing dressed back, and the leak traced so we know exactly what failed. You get photos of what we find, because most people quite reasonably do not want to climb up and look for themselves.
Then the proper repair, priced in writing like any other job, once the pressure is off. Sheeting a roof and walking away is half a job; the point of getting us out is that the same team that made it safe comes back and fixes the actual fault, tiles, ridge, felt, flashing or brickwork, so the emergency does not repeat next storm.

Emergency Roof Repairs FAQs
Put a container under the drip, move anything valuable, and if the ceiling is bulging, pierce the bulge with a screwdriver over a bucket so the water drains before the plasterboard collapses. Turn off electrics in that room if water is anywhere near a fitting. Then ring us and we will get to you as fast as we can.
It depends where you are and what else the storm has done, but for genuine emergencies in our area we are often out the same day. We will give you an honest time on the phone rather than promising the moon, and we turn up when we say.
Small faults, a slipped tile, a lifted flashing, often get fixed on the first visit. Bigger damage gets made safe and watertight first, then properly repaired once you have a written price. Either way the roof is not left letting water in.
We photograph the damage, describe what failed and what the repair involves, and put it in writing. Insurers usually want exactly that. The claim itself is between you and them, but you will have proper evidence from someone who has actually been on the roof.
If water is getting in or the tiles could fall where people walk, yes, treat it as one. If it is watertight and safe, it can wait for a normal appointment, and we will tell you that on the phone so you are not paying emergency urgency for a routine repair.
